Surrounded by nature, and amidst the mountains of Austria, have I been living on this 400 year old Homestead since 2020.
The farmhouse has been entirely renovated in 2021-2022. A dog, 2 cats and 5 ponies live on this farm with me. Especially during spring and fall do I enjoy the the diversity, and variety of my flowers, and plants, which keep me busy. Not far from my courtyard are plenty of lakes to swim in during summer time. In winter there are several ski-resorts not far from my location, such as the Tauplitz, the Loser, and the Dachstein ski-resorts. Biking tours are possible all around this area. Should the weather be bad, there are multiple hotsprings available in this region, inviting you to relax. Additionally, there are several caves, and salt-mines to discover, should it be rainy out.
The vacation rental unit is on the second floor. It consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a large balcony. The balcony can be accessed from one of the bedrooms as well as he kitchen. The balcony offers a table, and coushioned chaires and thus, invites you to linger and enjoy a gorgeousl scenery from above. By day the views from here offer sprawling nature, by night one can view the stars. One of the bedroom‘s window provides a dreamy view of the valley, as well as the Grimming mountain. This same bedroom offers a queens-sized bed and an expandable sleep couch. Furthermore, a small TV is placed on the wall above this couch. Additionally, a reclining chair here offers a great place for reading. Both bedroom are outfitted with small desks for writing. Each bedroom is equipped with a closet as well as a set of drawers for the storage of your belongings.
A spacious kitchen offers everything for your cooking and baking needs. A dishwasher, dishes, pots, pans, baking and juicing appliances, coffee-maker, microwave, toaster, water-boiler, and much more is available here for your convenience. The bathroom has a shower, a sink, an antique mirror cabinet, and vanity, a toilet and a small clothes washer. The downstairs hallway and entrance to the house offers an area to store shoes and coats as well as a shoe-cleaning machine. Another small bathroom with sink and toilet is available to be used here as well. In front of the entrance is a wooden deck with a large table, chairs, and grill for a comfortable outdoor dining experience. A bike rack is available to be used in the front courtyard as well, for those who arrive with bikes or plan to rent them. There’s plenty of space for parking in the front of the building. An organic family-farm is available within a short walk if you wish to purchase fresh raw milk. The tapwater in the vacation rental is public inspected mountain spring water.

Important Remarks!
- Only booking with children ages 10 and above is allowed, due to potential injury and safety hazards for smaller children on the farm (such as a careless interaction with farm animals, and a risk from falling from the vacation rental’s balcony).
- Check-in: Starting at 4pm (We ask for a short notice for an estimated time of arrival prior to the actual arrival)
- Check-out: Between 10am and 11am. (Storage of luggage is possible based on verbal agreement)
- No smoking allowed inside the rental unit. Smoking outside on the balkony or front porch is allowed.
- Shoes must be taked off when inside. If needed, houseshoes can be made available upon request.
- A clothes washing machine is available for you to use. However, the charge per load is 3,50€.
- Upon booking we charge a 30% downpayment from the total booking price, to be transfered to the specified bank account.
- Cancellations are possible in accordance with the current conditions of Austrian-hotel laws and regulations.
- Pets are not permitted.
