Holiday apartment in Veysonnaz
Cozy vacation apartment for two people with pet. The three of you are guaranteed to be together, as well as the incomparable view of all the four thousand and even more meter high mountains. At this altitude, it is very often possible to make a great snowball throw for your dog, even in the summer months. Then you take your cell phone camera, take a picture of it and write euphorically: 'Look, Lassie is chasing a snowball in the middle of August. You wouldn't believe it, right?? to your envious friends who had to stay at home and don't know this feeling. We bet, however, that by telling them in detail about your vacation experiences, YOU will quickly convince them to book for themselves.
Summer
The actual hiking area around Veysonnaz extends in a southerly direction to the Valais High Alps. If you are on Veysonnaz? about 300 km long hiking area, so you enjoy pure nature. You will also be able to encounter many freely grazing cows. These are harmless, no cattle will attack you, but rather let themselves be stroked. A large area of Veysonnaz's surroundings is protected thanks to intact flora, fauna and meadows. Pulling out silver thistles or gentians as souvenirs is not appreciated.......
But tours in the high mountains are also possible. The "Bisse-de-Vex" for example, a 12km long Suone (water conduit) from the 15th century, has been elaborately restored. Without having to overcome great differences in altitude and with mostly fantastic views, you can hike high above Veysonnaz along such Suonen.
Winter
As soon as snow falls in winter, Veysonnaz becomes a winter sports paradise. It is part of the ski area of the "Four Valleys" ("Quatre-Vallées") with about 400 km of perfectly groomed slopes. On the "Piste-de-l'Ours", above Veysonnaz, many World Cup races are also held. A spectacle beyond compare for the spectators! The huge ski arena of the "Quattre-Vallées" stretches from Veysonnaz and the adjacent ?les-Collons-Thyon-2000? over Nendaz, the Mont-Fort (3330 m) to Verbier and La Tzoumaz. No less than 410km of slopes for all levels (from beginner to professional) offer to feel the pressure of your boards for once. 95 lifts ensure that you will be catapulted back up to the heights after a speedy downhill run.
