In the historic center of Cuccaro, in Piedmont, you can spend an unusual holiday in an historic house dating back to the 18th century. It is characterized by a cellar dug in the tuff that in the local dialect is called “crota”. Strategic position for visiting Piedmont: The Langhe, Monferrato, Roero, where truffle and wine fairs are held in the months from September to December. No less important is the nearby area of Asti specialized in the production of sparkling wines. Do not miss a visit to Turin which hosts an internationally renowned Egyptian Museum; the Savoy’s Real Palace in the centre of the city represents one of the main buildings of the Savoy kingdom. Stop at the entrance gate: there are many “magic” histories on the symbolism. In Turin you must taste the “bicerin”, a delicious coffee enriched with chocolate and milk and served in a small glass. Other local speciality: the “agnolotti” and the meat platted with knife. Piedmont is a region to discover that will surprise you! Sports lovers can enjoy several activities: only 8 km from a golf course in Fubine Margara, a tennis club near Mirabello (10 km), but horse riding, trekking, canoeing and sport fishing are also possible.
