This pretty gite with enclosed grounds and private pool is nestled in a quiet setting on the outskirts of the village of Quarante in Hérault, 35 km from the beaches, 25 km from Béziers and Narbonne, ideal for exploring the hinterland.
Whether you love the beach or the mountains, it is perfect for a family vacation: everything is on one level, with comfortable bedrooms, a modern kitchen and a nice living area, a beautiful well-kept garden and a large terrace with covered part.
You can walk to the stores and enjoy the view of the homeowner's huge olive grove, from which you can access pretty hiking trails.
3 km from the Canal du Midi, the pretty mountain village of Quarante, nestled in a green and unspoiled setting, has a rich heritage and is only 1 hour from Montpellier or Carcassonne. The weekly market is held every Friday morning, and the local festival is held in August (fireworks and musical evenings). Throughout the summer, festivals are organized in the streets of the village. For gourmets, the region produces renowned olives and local products such as truffles and wines. In this regard, do not hesitate to visit the Château de Roueïre in Quarante or the Domaine de l'Étang Fages, whose wines have won numerous awards.
There are many places to visit such as Roquebrun and its Mediterranean garden (25 km). History buffs will enjoy visiting the Ensérune archaeological site 15 km away, the spectacular 19th century locks of Fonséranes 30 min away, a series of eight interconnected locks at the foot of Béziers, the Malpas tunnel 15km away.
Visit with the family the African zoological reserve of Sigean 35km away before enjoying the beach and nautical activities.
