Welcome to Vogüe, a picturesque little town in the heart of the southern Ardeche, lapped by the calm waters of the Ardeche river. With its cobbled streets, stone houses, medieval castle overlooking the landscape and sandy beaches, Vogüe is a real gem of the region. Also discover Balazuc, a village that will enchant you with its labyrinth of winding alleyways. Mysterious vaults and secret passages are special features that you can admire along with the castle and the fortified Romanesque church. Visit the Ardeche Museum, which is dedicated to fossils and dinosaurs. The surroundings of Vallon Pont d'Arc with its beautiful Ardèche gorge and the Cirque de Gens in Chauzon, a natural wonder with fantastic hiking and climbing opportunities. During a visit to Aubenas, you will discover many treasures, such as the 12th century castle, Saint Benoît Cathedral and the town's numerous fountains. Hikes and walks in this wild and unspoiled landscape are highly recommended.
