The scent of rosemary in the air, gnarled olive trees right outside the front door and the blue Mediterranean glistening in the sun in the distance - what sounds like a dream could actually be the setting for your next holiday if you book your stay at Villa Na Llambies in the east of Mallorca. The house, built in traditional style with beautiful wooden window frames and a large covered terrace, is surrounded by a Mediterranean landscape characterised by years of agricultural activity and exudes a feeling of majestic tranquillity. Just a few metres separate the lush greenery of the garden from the rectangular pool, which is easily accessible via a gently sloping staircase. It is a wonderful place to cool off on hot summer days. Afterwards, you can take a short siesta on one of the comfortable sun loungers on the paved sun terrace or enjoy a cool drink under one of the parasols. And if you want to immerse yourself in a good book, you can retreat to the soft cushions of the outdoor sofa on the covered terrace, well protected from the sun. Of course, don't forget the long dining table with chairs if you want to enjoy an al fresco meal with delicious Mediterranean specialities and other delicacies from the brick barbecue.
The interior of the villa also makes it clear that you have found a place where you can feel at home. The furnishings are understated, tasteful and neat, with light-coloured walls contrasting with traditional brown wooden furniture and dark, rustic ceiling beams. Numerous windows ensure that the rooms are pleasantly lit throughout the day. The ground floor and first floor each have a cosy living room with inviting cream-coloured sofas, and the living room on the ground floor leads directly into the spacious dining area. The dark wooden table and comfortable wicker chairs are perfect for an evening of feasting and storytelling. Speaking of feasting: You can prepare all the festive meals you want in the modern kitchen with high-quality equipment and convenient access to the terrace. There is also a small table and chairs where you can enjoy a light breakfast or simply sit down and eat your veg. If you ever get bored of the long days filled with sunshine, salty sea air and all the wonderful new impressions, you can either retreat to a beautiful double bedroom with a modern bathroom on the ground floor or make your way up the wrought iron banister staircase to the upper floor. Up here, guests of the villa will find three further bedrooms, all very well maintained, decorated in beautiful pastel colours and equipped with large wardrobes for your holiday wardrobe. One of the three bedrooms has a pull-out bed ideal for two children. Of course, the bathrooms are right next to the bedrooms and have walk-in showers, towel warmers and large mirrors.
The location of Villa Na Llambies is like a dream: it is a place where you can enjoy the relaxed country lifestyle in absolute peace and quiet, but never have to feel lonely or isolated. Just a short walk away is the small residential neighbourhood of Port Verd, where you can enjoy some excellent restaurants. But even better, of course, is the fact that the sea is only a few hundred metres away. But a day trip in a hire car is also worthwhile. There is a country road nearby that you can sometimes hear (depending on which way the wind is blowing), which will quickly take you the 4.1 kilometres to Son Servera and its weekly market, which is well worth a visit. And Cala Millor, the lively tourist centre with its own beautiful beach, is only 5.3 km away. The spacious Villa Na Llambies has a pool of varying depths right next to the house and is located in the east of the island in the middle of a beautiful Mediterranean landscape characterised by years of agriculture; but the best thing about it is that it is only 300 metres as the crow flies to the enticing waters of the Mediterranean, glistening in the sun. The village of Port Verd is just a few minutes' walk away and the beautiful sandy beach of Sa Marjal is less than 2 kilometres away.
