Der große sonnige Garten mit altem Baumbestand ist von 3 Seiten eingezäunt und schwer einsehbar. Ein breiter , wasserführender Graben (Sieltief) bildet die Grenze der vierten Seite des Grundstücks.
Die Nordseebäder Sehestedt, Burhave, Tossens und Eckwarderhörne sind alle in ca. 10 Autominuten zu erreichen.
Ein Restaurant, ein Kiosk und eine Tankstelle, die auch frische Brötchen anbieten, befinden sich im 3,5 km entfernten Stollhamm. Weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in den Nordseebädern Burhave, Eckwarderhörne und Tossens.
