    “Sankt Andreasberg wirkte auf uns wie im Dornröschenschlaf. Es hat Potential, das viel zu wenig genutzt wird und wirkt so etwas verlassen.
    Gleichzeitig haben wir die Ruhe und Abgelegenheit geschätzt und sehr genossen.
    Für Ruhebedürftige also ideal.
    Sehr empfehlenswert ist das Restaurant "Roter Bär" gegenüber der Ferienhaus-Anlage.”

    “Gute Ausgangslage zum Wandern, allerdings ist der Ort sehr klein. Viele der Gaststätten / Restaurants waren bei unserem Aufenthalt geschlossen und telefonisch nicht erreichbar (zwecks Reservierung). Eine Altstadt mit Geschäften, Ärzten, Bäcker etc. ist nur in abgespeckter Form vorhanden.”

    “Sankt Andreasberg is een plaats die veel te bieden heeft. In de directe omgeving (straal 20 km) veel belevenissen zoals Schierke - Brocken, Sorge - Grenzmuseum, en Grube Samson in SA zelf. De omgeving is verder een zeer aantrekkelijk gebied om te fietsen/mountainbiken en te wandelen - geweldig mooie natuur kenmerkend voor de Harz.
    De dorpskern heeft erg leuke elementen als prachtige rijtjes huizen met mooie tuintjes en een bakker met heerlijk brood en gebak. Echter verder ook veel lege panden en gebouwen die een opknapbeurt nodig hebben.”
